Video Identity Verification & Consent Notice
Last updated: July 17, 2026
1. Purpose of this notice
This notice explains how Kynara handles identity verification for video, TrueFace and clone-like identity features. It is separate from government identity verification and does not create a KYC process.
2. Static image generation
For single-image generation from an uploaded photo, Kynara generally relies on user rights and consent confirmation, misuse controls and review mechanisms. Liveness verification is not required by default for lower-risk static image generation, but Kynara may require review or restrict use if abuse, impersonation, dispute or safety concerns arise.
3. Video, TrueFace and reusable identity features
For identity-based video, TrueFace, talking-video, clone-like video or reusable identity features, Kynara requires liveness verification and face matching against the uploaded reference image before allowing the feature.
4. No KYC
Kynara does not verify your legal identity, government ID, address, citizenship, tax status or official identity documents through this process. The purpose is misuse prevention, not official identity verification.
5. What Kynara checks
Kynara checks whether the live user appears to match the uploaded reference image sufficiently to reduce unauthorized impersonation and non-consensual clone-video creation.
6. No absolute guarantee
Verification reduces risk but cannot guarantee that misuse, fraud, error, unauthorized use or false results will never occur. Kynara may block, restrict or review identity features where verification is incomplete, suspicious or disputed.
7. User consent and responsibility
You may only upload and use media of yourself or media for which you have all required rights and valid consent. You must not use Kynara to imitate, clone, impersonate or generate another person without permission.
8. Fail-closed for higher-risk video features
If required liveness or face-match verification fails, is incomplete or raises a safety concern, Kynara will not allow the relevant TrueFace, video, clone-like or reusable identity feature unless the issue is resolved through an approved review process. Static image features may be handled separately based on rights, consent and misuse controls.
9. No sale or third-party advertising use
Kynara does not sell uploaded photos, live verification captures, voice recordings, likeness information or identity-related assets. Kynara does not use uploaded identity media for third-party advertising.
10. Retention and deletion
You may request deletion of your account data, uploaded media, generated media, verification records or identity-related assets by contacting Kynara support. Kynara may retain limited records when reasonably necessary to provide the service, protect users, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, enforce the Terms or comply with law.
11. Contact
For video identity verification, likeness, deletion or consent questions, contact Kynara support through the contact channel listed in the Kynara Legal Notice.
